At The Workshop Christchurch Ltd, motorcycles are more than just machines — they’re a passion, a lifestyle, and for us, a family affair. We’ve built our workshop around quality workmanship, genuine customer care, and creating a welcoming environment where every rider feels at home.
Whether you’re bringing in your daily ride, a treasured classic, or a dream custom project, you’ll be greeted by a team of passionate enthusiasts who genuinely love what they do.
Megan is the friendly face and voice behind much of the day-to-day running of the workshop. As Ricky’s partner and co-owner, she handles customer service and administration and is usually the first point of contact when you call or email us.
Megan helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while making sure every customer feels looked after from the moment they get in touch. Her approachable nature and attention to detail help create the welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere The Workshop is known for.
Ricky is the owner of The Workshop Christchurch Ltd and has more than 16 years of industry experience. A qualified Automotive Engineer and qualified Motorcycle Engineer, Ricky has also completed factory training with Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Vespa, MV Agusta, SWM, and Royal Enfield.
His passion lies in custom builds, classic motorcycles, restorations, and all the unusual, non-standard projects that require experience, creativity, and problem-solving. Ricky thrives on bringing unique bikes and ideas to life, whether it’s a full restoration, a one-off custom build, or diagnosing something others can’t figure out.
Jason brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry to the team. Currently studying Level 3 and 4 Motorcycle Engineering, he combines extensive hands-on mechanical knowledge with a strong passion for motorcycles and continual learning.
Jason is an important part of the workshop team, always ready to tackle new challenges and help deliver the high standard of workmanship we pride ourselves on.
Between Ricky and Megan’s four kids and Jason’s two, family is a big part of life here at The Workshop. We believe a great workshop should feel welcoming and relaxed — somewhere riders can talk bikes, ask questions, and trust that their motorcycle is in good hands.
